• Why is the BodipHier called a BodipHier and not a relaxer?
  The BodipHier is new technology. The BodipHier is designed to relax hair and add body without the use of lye. The active ingredients are not as strong as lye and will not dissolve hair. The BodipHier cannot make the hair “totally straight” like relaxers do. This allows the hair to look more natural, keep its texture and have more body.
• How does the BodipHier differ from a relaxer?

• Can you use the BodipHier over hair that has been relaxed with sodium, calcium or lithium hydroxide relaxers?
  Yes, a BodipHier is compatable with all relaxers.

• Will the BodipHier burn or irritate the scalp?
  When used according to instructed processing time most people feel no sensation.
• Can you use a relaxer over hair that has BodipHier in it?
  Yes. A BodipHier is compatable with all relaxers.
• Can the BodipHier be used over a curl or Thio product?
  It is not recommended. Curls or Thio based products need moisture or the hair will become dry and will break.
• What is the active ingredient in the BodipHier?
  Alkaline water
• What is the pH of the BodipHier?
  The BodipHier is an alkaline product with a pH of 12.0.
• Do you need a neutralizing shampoo?
  No. The BodipHier is self neutralizing.
• Do you have to mix the BodipHier?
  No, just squeeze contents into a container.
• How straight does the BodipHier make hair?
  85% straight for virgin or very course hair; 90% straight for normal hair.
• Will the BodipHier revert with humid weather, rain or hot flashes?
  No. The BodipHier softens the internal bonds of hair and elongates or loosens the natural curl pattern.
• How long does a BodipHier last?
  A BodipHier relaxes hair permanently. You must do a retouch or new growth application in 4-6 weeks.
• Does the BodipHier discolor gray hair?
  No, the BodipHier will not cast a yellowish or greenish tint to gray hair.
• Does the BodipHier lift the color from hair?
  No. Unlike traditional relaxers BodipHiers do not lift color from hair.
• Can you set or wrap your hair with a BodipHier?
  Yes. Any style that you can achieve with traditional relaxers you can achieve with a BodipHier.
• What effect does heat application have on BodipHied hair?
  Blow drying and thermal curling BodipHied hair makes it straighter, softer and feel more silky.
• What maintenance is needed with the BodipHier?
  Use the Brilliant Sheen Moisturizer 2-3 times a week to help hair maintain moisture, sheen and body. Use the BodipHier Shampoo, Conditioner, Blow Drying, or Setting creme for conditioning and styling between applications.
• How do the vitamins, minerals and Amino Acids affect hair?
  They help fortify the hair and restore it to its natural pH balance.
• Why does the BodipHier come in a sealed pouch?

• Do you have a money back guarantee?
  No. We do not know the condition of the hair before the BodipHier is applied. Neither can we control how it is used.
• Are there any salons that use your products?
  Only a few. Our marketing efforts are directed towards consumers.
• Do you ship outside the United States?
  Yes, we regularly ship to the UK, Canada, and Australia. In addition, we have the ability to ship globally. We typically ship by regular US Air Mail, and it takes between 4 and 7 days for delivery. There is an additional shipping charge for international shipments depending on the size and weight of the order.
